The other day I had the pleasure of returning to San Diego Living for a great segment about how to plan a fun family reunion. YES…they can be fun. More than fun. Amazing even! But, you really need to plan ahead. My family has had a reunion both this summer (in the Outer Banks) and last (in Kennebunkport, Maine) and both were wonderful.
My husband and I both have fond memories of spending vacations with our cousins when we were growing up, and we wanted our kids to have the same experience. As it was, they barely knew there cousins because everyone lives so far apart. My first tip in planning a reunion is to choose a location that is easy to get to for the majority of the people coming. Watch the segment below for the rest of my tips and get started on planning a reunion of your own!
